There will be costumed characters roaming the streets of the Historical Strand District in the old downtown district of Galveston. You will enjoy being transported back in time to Victorian London at the time of "Charles Dickens".

The Dickens On The Strand Festival includes a hand bell concert, Christmas by Candlelight, a Traditional Dickens Feast, you will see a Knighting Ceremony, A Christmas Carol, there will be a Costume Contest, and you will see The Festival Of Lights at the Moody Gardens. This will be a weekend full of fun & merriment to be had by all who wish to participate as you celebrate "Dickens On The Strand".
